Launch of SpaceX Falcon 9 with First Re-Used Dragon on CRS-11 Mission

SpaceX have successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket today at 21:07 UTC, 17:07 Local time, June 3rd 2017 from Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39A carrying the Dragon CRS-11 mission.

CRS-11 is carrying 2,708 kg of cargo to the International Space Station and for the first time is using a previously launched Dragon. This Dragon last launched in 2014 on the CRS-4 mission.

This was the 100th rocket to launch from the historic Launch Pad 39A which has seen 12 Saturn V's, 82 Space Shuttles and now 6 Falcon 9's.

The Falcon 9 first stage for this mission successfully touched down at Landing Zone 1 at the nearby Cape Canaveral Air Force Station shortly after launch.

Dragon is scheduled to arrive at the International Space Station on Sunday June 4th.
